Brief Description:
Pontoon is also known as floating bag, floating airbag, salvage airbag and refloation airbag. It is similar to ship launching airbags.
Launching ship with rubber airbags is a big innovation started in 1980s. Our boss Mr.Pan is one of the first group of experts who were interested in the research and application of airbags used for ship launching and landing. This new technique was gradually proved to be economical and practical. Now the technique is mature and become popular among big shipyards both in China and abroad.

Differeces between ship launching airbag and pontoon:
Pontoon's inner rubber layer is made separately and the tyre cord layers are woven crossly from two heads. The air tightness is inspected and tested during the production process to make sure no leakage is possible. The high strength tire cords contribute to improve the performance of anti-explosion against high pressure. All the process is conducted with the body filled with inflated air. We could make 100% air tightness.
There are special designing on salvaging pontoon, like handles, bulkles, which is used to tie the bags on sunk boat.
For normal salvage project, you also could select normal launching airbag. We could achieve 100% no air leakage within 24hours, and pressure losing not more than 0.02 within 48hours.
